Oren Gadot is VP & Chief Scientist at Elbit Systems (NASDAQ: ESLT), where he leads strategic R&D across advanced defense technologies. Previously, he served as Deputy Director of the Technology Directorate at the Prime Minister’s Office, acting as Corporate CTO and heading the organization’s corporate venture capital arm. Oren brings over two decades of experience in executive leadership, startup incubation, and deep-tech development, with past roles including CEO of Elbit’s Incubit Ventures, CEO of the renewable energy arm of Israel Corporation (later Kenon Holdings, NYSE: KEN), and senior positions at Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT). He holds an M.Sc. in Electro-Optics Engineering and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University, and completed executive education at Harvard Business School in Financial Strategies for Cross-Border Expansion. Oren is also a Lieutenant Colonel (res.) in the IDF, having served in the C4I Directorate, where he led technological initiatives in command, control, communications, and intelligence.
