Poster Presentations:
NANO.IL 2027 – ICS 90th is the primary meeting place for the interdisciplinary Nanoscience, Nanotechnology and Chemistry communities.
Students and PI’s, this is the best platform to showcase your research to the conference audience: academic researchers, advanced students, leading international scientists, and influential representatives from industry and the high-tech sector.
The poster sessions provide a unique opportunity to gain high-level visibility, receive expert feedback, and engage in meaningful scientific dialogue.
Awards will be granted to the best poster presentations.
We strongly encourage students to submit an abstract and participate in the poster sessions.

This is a unique opportunity to present your work to a distinguished audience and compete for an Outstanding Poster Award, judged by a panel of talented student reviewers.

Instructions for preparing the poster:
The poster boards will be ready for you at the day of the conference, February 14th, starting 08:00 AM.
We ask you to keep the poster on the board for the entire duration of the conference, unless otherwise announced.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
- Posters will be displayed for one or two days, depending on the final number of posters. Details will be published in advance
- The poster judging session will take place on Sunday, February 14, 2027, from 14:00 to 15:00
- All presenters are required to be at their poster stations at 14:00, when the judging session begins
- Presenters are required to print and bring their poster to the conference
- Poster size: 95 x 120 cm, portrait orientation
- Poster stands and tape or pins will be provided
How the judging works
Posters will be arranged in thematic sequences. Each presenter will be assigned to a group of neighbouring posters of the same theme, together with one reviewer who will be assigned to that group of presenters.
- The group will move from poster to poster, and each presenter will briefly present his or her work (1-3 minutes, including questions; exact time will be updated later), to the reviewer and to the other presenters in the group. The reviewer will then select the best poster of the group.
- If the total number of posters will be large, there will be another selection step, in which the best posters of two or three groups will be presented again to a panel of the reviewers of those groups, who will select the winner among them.
- Reviewers will be recruited from among the conference participants and will be assigned by the poster committee, which will take care to avoid conflicts of interest. The poster committee is headed by Prof. Gil Markovich.
- Posters presented by Principal Investigators will form a separate group. This group will be judged by student reviewers, selected by the poster committee.
- Winners will receive the Best Poster Award at the closing session on February 15. Winners are expected to be present at the ceremony.
