We are delighted to invite you to NANO.IL 2027 – ICS 90th, the joint international conference of NANO.IL and the Israel Chemical Society, to be held at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem on February 14-15, 2027, with a Tutorials Day on February 11.

For the first time, NANO.IL and the Israel Chemical Society will hold a joint event, celebrating the rich science and industrial applications of NANO.IL 2027 and the 90th annual meeting of the ICS. Bringing the two communities together under one roof will create outstanding opportunities for cross-fertilization, collaborations, networking, business initiatives, and career development.

Both communities in Israel are characterized by multidisciplinary research and a strong synergistic connection between academia and industry. Over the past two decades, Israel has evolved into a major player in nanoscience and nanotechnology, creating significant opportunities in emerging fields, including materials, electronics, photonics, quantum, energy, defense, aerospace, semiconductors, 3D printing, agro-food, bio-nano-med, and the rapidly growing areas of data science and artificial intelligence (AI). Most of these fields strongly overlap with current trends and focal points in chemical sciences and technologies, including catalysis, nano-chemistry, bioorganic and biomedical chemistry, electrochemistry, photonics, materials engineering, energy, quantum, and their relevant technologies and industrial applications.

The joint NANO.IL 2027 – ICS 90th event will provide a fantastic opportunity to meet, discuss, and learn about new developments across the sub-fields of nanotechnology and chemistry, and to initiate new collaborations. It will be the most significant meeting in the general fields, bringing together local and international companies, investors, universities, research organizations, and government agencies. The program will feature start-up companies and technologies on the verge of commercialization, multinational and defense-related companies, and a rich display of the latest innovations and product prototypes. We anticipate over 1600 attendees from Israel and abroad, representing diverse expertise and interests. We expect a large commercial exhibition and over 600 posters.

Confirmed plenary speakers include Prof. Samuel I. Stupp (Northwestern University), Prof. Stuart Parkin (Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics), Prof. Veronique Gouverneur (Oxford University, UK), and Prof. Chunying Chen (National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, China). We will announce additional plenary speakers soon.
