Shlomo Magdassi is a professor at the Institute of Chemistry of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Currently, he is the academic director of the Center for Functional and 3D Printing, at The Hebrew University. His research focuses on micro and nanomaterials and their applications in functional 2D & 3D printing, and it led to many commercial activities, including establishing start-up companies, licensing agreements, and worldwide sales. He is the recipient of 2022 Johann Gutenberg Prize of the Society for Imaging Science and Technology. He was recently elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.
